Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur at the “Golden Triangle”, ASCOTT Kuala Lumpur is only a stone’s throw away from the many historical and cultural hotspots in Malaysia.
ASCOTT Kuala Lumpur is a luxurious accommodation that boasts a wide range of facilities made available to its residences, some of which area a comprehensive gymnasium, a large swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa arrangements, and many more. Not only does ASCOTT promise luxury but also a lifestyle and transportation convenience that are offered by capable staff and facilities team. Further more each unit is well-equipped with a proper kitchenette and a private balcony for residents to fully utilize. Residents range from all ages and with both short term as well as long term stay plans.
The project brief was to do a tasteful refurbishment of all rooms, along with the attachment floor corridors but with a limited budget. Also mentioned as part of the requirements was to have the design concept to incorporate Malaysia cultural elements.
The main concept of the phase was derived with the intention of promoting Malaysia’s rich and unique culture. Therefore, certain materials such as bamboo, rattan, and timber were introduced to enhance the feel. Furthermore, furniture design motifs were derived from the very humble yet unique banana leaf which is known to be used in many various Malaysian cuisines.
